Michael Rondel (Harewood), President
Michael joined the Executive Committee in 2019 and has been the President since late 2020. He was previously involved with the Harewood Golf Club for over ten years, serving as Finance Director and Board Chair over that time. Michael also facilitates courses for the Golf Managers Association of NZ. He is currently a member at both Harewood and Hanmer Springs Golf Clubs. A Chartered Accountant by trade , Michael is a Partner at BDO Christchurch. With a focus on good governance, Michael is keen to be part of ensuring that Canterbury Golf is committed to seeing the game of golf continue to grow and develop in the Canterbury region, through a network of well-connected and supported Clubs.

James joined the Canterbury Golf Executive in 2021. His paid employment is the Finance Manager at Lyttelton Port Company and his other job is unpaid Uber driver for his two children, after that he is allowed the occasional round of golf. Previously he has been on the Ellesmere Golf Club committee and held a variety of roles including Club Captain. He is the current Ellesmere representative to the Canterbury Central Committee. General Manager, Pathways and Performance - Blair Minton
Blair started with Canterbury Golf in June 2021 and has a Bachelor of Sport and Recreation Management from Lincoln University to go with 10 plus years of experience working in the sports sector with previous NSO roles working in Club Capability and Player Welfare/Development. Originally starting as the organisations Golf Development Manager he started in the newly formed role of General Manager - Pathways and Performance in August 2023, the role includes:

- Ensuring Canterbury's Golf's Management Structure is functioning effectively and the association complies with legislative and statutory requirements.
- Liaison and support of affiliate clubs.
- Managing all aspects of Canterbury Golf's day-to-day finances.
- Strategic oversight of the Canterbury Young People in Golf Plan.
- Design and implementation of the Canterbury Golf Talent Development Plan.
- Management of Canterbury Representative programme.
- Promotion, marketing and media liaison.
- Staff and contract management.
- Liaison with Golf NZ, other Districts and industry stakeholders.
- Assisting with provision of major Canterbury tournaments, competitions and events.

Golf Operations & Support - Mike Millward
Mike started at Canterbury Golf in November 2014 and has an extensive business and administrative background. His role includes all organisational aspects of golf interclub, competitions and events, including:

- Dealing with all general enquiries to Canterbury Golf.
- Coordinating and managing all aspects of Canterbury Golf's interclub competitions and tournaments.
- Collating and managing the Canterbury Golf Calendar of Events
Mike is the friendly face that greets anyone visiting the Canterbury Golf office, and goes out of his way to ensure that all enquiries are dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.

Participation Coordinator - Catherine Palmer
Catherine joined Canterbury Golf in September 2022, in the full-time role of Participation Coordinator that was created due to the phenomenal growth and increased focus on work fostering participation in golf, including overseeing our very successful Futures Canterbury programme.
Catherine is well known to most in the golfing community, bringing to the position a wealth of golf experience having played since a young age, playing many years of Pollock Cup and representing the Canterbury Senior Women’s Team, and being part of New Zealand development squads and teams.
Her work experience includes being a Pro Shop Assistant, SNAG/Golf in Schools Instructor, First Tee coach, and volunteer club coach. She has also had administrative/office experience working for an accounting firm.
