Central Canterbury stalwart Barry Brownie passed away last Sunday aged 88 years. He contributed significantly to golf in the Canterbury Central region, with the Brownie Cup still played for today in Canterbury Central interclub.
A service to celebrate Barry's wonderful life, will be held at the Akaroa Golf Club, Pawsons Road, Duvauchelle, on Friday, June 17, 2022, at 12.30pm, interment thereafter at The Akaroa Anglican Cemetery, Akaroa.
