The Canterbury Men's Masters Team have won the South Island Interprovincial title in a closely fought battle between the five districts.
The Timaru Golf Club hosted the South Island fixture, providing a great opportunity for the South Island districts to play competitive rounds ahead of the NZ Men's Freyberg that will also be played at the same venue in November.
The weather proved very challenging on the Saturday with rain and cold southerly winds. The players battled the conditions and managed to complete all four rounds.
