The final Boyle Cup challenge for 2018 was played yesterday at Charteris Bay with the home team continuing on their winning way and finishing the season in style defeating Akaroa 5-0.
Current Boyle Cup holder Charteris Bay's Sharon Screen, Chris Brodie, Carole Steele, Denise Whitbread and Nicky Coop.
The other challenges Charteris Bay repelled during the season were against:
Christchurch 5-0
Waitikiri 4.5-.5
Everglades 4-1
Waimakariri Gorge 3-2
The Boyle Cup will now be safely stored in the Charteris Bay Golf Club trophy cabinet until next year's ballot is completed and challengers are confirmed in March.
