The 18 Hole Women's Interclub Final was played between Clearwater and Russley 1 in cool conditions at Waitikiri yesterday, with the course presented in great condition.
The Clearwater ladies from left, Wendy Timbs, Joy McLaughlin, Mary Heckler, Liz Austin, Mee Huong Yang and Gay Cox continued their unbeaten Interclub round robin form to beat a gallant Russley 1 team of Margaret Han, Chris Fahey, June Park, Joy Smith, Mary-Anne Williamson and Anne Collingwood, with several matches going down to the wire by 4-2.
