Korean Professional Seon Woo Bae has come along since winning the 2012 Canterbury Strokeplay as an amateur (pictured right). Now the world No. 52, she is currently competing in the US Womens' Open and is in a top ten position after three rounds.
In 2012 she was in Christchurch as part of the Pacific Golf Academy and streeted the field at the Harewood Golf Club. Soon after she turned professional and has been competing on the Korean LPGA Tour. She has also returned to Christchurch several times to play in the NZ Women's Open where she has had a couple of top ten finishes.
