After having confirmed their semi final position at the NZ Women's Interprovincials yesterday Canterbury didn't slow down today in the final round robin match beating Bay of Plenty 4-1 to ensure they remained unbeaten and at the top of the table.
Canterbury's Maddie May led from the front to get an early win on the board for the team. After making the turn through 9 holes 4 up she continued to push ahead to secure the first win 7/6. Hillary O'Connor, Catherine Bell and Juliana Hung also came in with great wins to post a 4-1 victory over Bay of Plenty.
Canterbury will play in the second semi-final match against North Harbour from the 1st tee at 8.05am following the semi-final between Auckland and Manawatu/Wanganui which tees off at 7:30am.
The team hope to see as much red and black supporters at the Waitikiri golf course as possible for what is set to be a thrilling semi-final.
