A southerly blast caused challenging conditions for the Canterbury Junior Tournament held at the Avondale Golf Club. 36 golfers braved the cold conditions with some great scoring from the junior golfers. Tiaki Ogilvie (Russley) continued his great run of form after winning the Eagles Tournament last week he shot a three under par 67 to win the overall tournament from Hayato Miya (Russley) on 71. The Girls section was won by Juliana Hung (Russley) who shot 77 from Lina Park (Waimairi Beach) on 84 with Amy Weng (Russley) winning the net with 77 on a countback from Deanna Matthews (Weedons). The Grade Two Boys section was won by Nathan Hall (Weedons) with a net 66 from Hugo Reid (Everglades) on a countback with a net 70. The best stableford was Taylor Holland (Lincoln) with 36 points from William Robb (Templeton) with 35 points.
