The final round robin matches were played at Waitikiri with five teams in contention for the semi final positions. Christchurch and Russley battled it out for top of the table honours with seven of the eight matches going to at least the 17th hole. The final result was a half with Christchurch's Mike Toeke, Richard Reed, JJ Love and John Sanders picking up the wins, while Hiroki Miya, Ben Baker, Cam Beel and Joe Falkner won their matches for Russley.
Harewood finished with a half against Coringa with four individual matches halved from Matt McLean, Blair Dibley, Anuresh Chandra and Anthony Dale. This could of gone either way for Harewood, they had the chance to top qualify or if they had of lost they would have finished outside of the top four semi final positions. Harewood got the two valuable wins from Scott Manyweathers and Rob Gregory.
Templeton also managed to book their spot in the semi final after beating Waitikiri 5-3. Tom Wilson, James Robb, Dan Laughton, Rhys Wilson and Paul Brightwell secured the all important points for the team to earn the final semi final position.
After a dominant performance in rounds 6 and 7 Bottle Lake were looking to upset the top teams holding down the fourth position on the table heading into the final round. It was a tight battle that saw Pegasus have the edge over Bottle Lake winning 5-3 with Kazuma Kobori, Andrew Green, Peter Brinsdon and Brandon Parker getting the wins along with Matthew Burns and Richard Sinclair with halved matches. The Pegasus team performed well finishing in sixth position for their first outing in the Woodward Cup competition.
The final match between Clearwater and Avondale was an important one with the winner of the match avoiding the Promotion/Relegation match to stay in the competition. Avondale produced a solid performance to beat Clearwater 5-3 and avoid sitting bottom of the table. Hayden Burns, Aaron Pablecheque, Rodney van Steenis and Haupai Puha won their matches with Nick Brennan and Tony Clemett halving their matches for Avondale.

The Stan Rich Salver was won jointly by Mike Toeke (Christchurch) and Tom Wilson (Templeton) both on eight wins.
The top four teams Russley, Christchurch, Harewood and Templeton all finished on 13 points and were separated on a count-back of games to determine the semi final matches which will be played on Sunday 1 October at Waimairi Beach.
