Canterbury Golf Incorporated
Established in 1941 Canterbury Golf Incorporated is responsible for the administration of golf in Canterbury for both Men and Women. Canterbury Golf has built a reputation as an industry leader in New Zealand through innovation, the success of its representative teams, the commitment of its many volunteers, and more recently the work performed by its paid employees.
On top of day-to-day administration Canterbury Golf also implements and manages many competitions and tournaments to ensure golfers of all ages, gender, and playing ability have the opportunity to participate, take pleasure, and succeed in the game of golf.
Canterbury Golf is committed to promoting the game at a grass roots and club level. The “Give Golf a Go” programme in particular encourages beginner and junior golfers to take up the game of golf as a life long sporting/leisure pursuit.
