CGI Tour - Order of Merit 2011/2012
There are four sections in the CGI Tour - Order of Merit
CGI Tour Women
CGI Tour Men
CGI Tour Women’s Masters
CGI Tour Men’s Masters
Canterbury Men & Women players in the top 20 amateurs of each tournament will receive ranking points relative to their placing. Placings will be determined by countback where necessary.
The 10 highest placed Canterbury Masters Men and Masters Women players will receive ranking points in each tournament. Placings will be determined by countback where necessary. A minimum of 5 players must compete in a tournament in order for any player to receive ranking points. Players must be 40 plus as at the date of the first event on the CGI Tour.
Conditions
All players are eligible to play on the Men’s and Women’s CGI Tour, provided they are eligible and available to play for Canterbury under the regulations laid down by CGI. Note: not applicable for Masters players.
Should any CGI Tour winner move out of the province during the year the balance of the unused trust money will be retained by CGI to use at their discretion.
A final round Tour Championship will be held at Pegasus on 25 March 2012 for the top 16 Men, 8 Women and 6 Mens and Womens Masters to determine the overall winners. The Tour Championship will hold double points.
CGI Tour - Women's Order of Merit Events
There are 11 events scheduled for Women, the top 8 tournaments will count. The player’s points will be divided by 8 to give the player’s CGI Tour Order of Merit Ranking Average. If for example an individual only wants to play in 4 events their total number of points will still be divided by 8.
At the end of the tour the Women’s CGI Tour Order of Merit winners and runner ups will receive a trust fund to be administered by CGI to be used for tournament travel and accommodation assistance over the following 12 months. Trust funds amounts are as follows:

Women’s Masters CGI Tour Winner $500
