Notice of 2012 Canterbury Golf Annual General Meeting

The 2012 Canterbury Golf Annual General Meeting will be held as follows:
7.30pm, Wednesday 12 September 2012, Fairway Lounge, Russley Golf Club, 428 Memorial Avenue, Burnside, Christchurch
Important Dates:
By 4 July:
a) Nomination Forms for Executive Committee and Women’s Match Committee sent out.
b) Notice for any business to be discussed or resolutions to be considered at the AGM sent out.
c) Reminder sent to clubs for delegates to regional match committees (north, central and metro) to be advised.
8 August:
Nominations close for Executive Committee and Women’s Match Committee.
By 15 August:
a) Voting forms sent to clubs (if required).
b) Request for AGM delegates sent out.
Note that if the number of candidates for any position is not greater that the number of positions to be filled (ie. five this year for the Executive Committee and five this year for the Women’s Match Committee) then those candidates are to be declared elected at the AGM and no voting will be required.
22 August:
a) Closing date for notices of motion or business to be discussed.
b) Regional match committee delegates required by.
By 29 August:
AGM Agenda and Annual Report sent out.
5 September:
a) Closing date for voting (if required).
b) Closing date for nomination of AGM delegates.
