Womens National Club Teams District Champions 2024 Tai Tapu LR2 The Women's National Club Teams' Championship results for 2024 have been finalised and can be viewed here.Congratulations to the 2024 Winners Clinton, Otago at 23 under par.The Canterbury District Club Champions, Tai Tapu's team of Liz Reed, Sun Han, Pearl Park and Adrienne Shadbolt finished in 8th equal place at 14 under par.

2024 Boys & Girls Representative Manager Positions - Expressions of Interest

INTERPromen281120 4 Canterbury Golf is now seeking expressions of interest for the Manager positions for the 2024 Canterbury Boys & Girls Representative Teams. These are rewarding roles that contribute to the ongoing success of Canterbury Golf. The purpose of these positions is to assist players to ensure they are supported and managed to perform at their best while representing Canterbury. McGuire Hendon Cup Winners 2024 Greendale LR The annual Ashby Bergh Trophy and McGuire Hendon Cup matches were played at Burnham Golf Course on Sunday in calm, sunny conditions and the course in great order. Our thanks to Burnham for hosting this event. It's the first time for some years Burnham have hosted and event like this and the feedback from players that the course and greens are in the best condition they have seen for many years is a credit to the club and team of volunteers at Burnham for their hard work. Canterbury North Women's Interclub

Canterbury North Womens Interclub Winners 2024 Scargill II LR2 The Final round of Canterbury North Women’s Interclub was played at Hanmer Springs yesterday in cool, overcast conditions and the course in great order. Going into the Final Round Scargill led the team standings by just 1 point from their nearest rival Hanmer Springs who had the bye and were unable to add to their total. With both Hawarden and Cheviot next on 12 games, Scargill only needed to win two games in their final match against Culverden to safely secure their second successive title.They managed to do that comfortably winning 3.5-1.5 with Emma Macfarlane defeating Ju Lucas 5/4, Marianne McLean...

Kazuma attends Canterbury TDP session

TDP session with Kazuma2 Former Canterbury, NZ representative and now pro player Kazuma Kobori recently attended one of Canterbury Golf's Talent Development Programme sessions last month. The Rangiora local was able to pass on some invaluable knowledge and tips to our aspiring players as he engaged with the group undertaking an initial Q&A session followed by a demonstration of what one his practice sessions looks like. Cresswell Cup Winners 2024 Kaiapoi Black LR2 The Cresswell Cup and Toby Richards Trophy were contested on Sunday in bleak conditions at Templeton Golf Club.Despite the poor conditions both matches were hotly contested and provided for some good entertainment on a very cold and wet Sunday. Mens Champion of Champions Tile 2024 The annual Men’s Champions of Champions event was held yesterday at Rangiora Golf Club in mild, calm conditions and the course in great order, with representatives from 28 Canterbury Clubs competing.The event offers the opportunity for clubs' Senior, Intermediate, and Junior champions to compete against other club’s respective champions individually, and in a teams’ net and gross stableford format. In the Teams Gross Stableford, Clearwater claimed victory with a combined score of 92 points with Harewood finishing second with 84 points.
