The annual Canterbury Golf AGM was held yesterday evening providing an opportunity to reflect on the positive last 12-months alongside the release of the 24/25 Annual Report.
In another strong year of growth with club membership rising another 6.9%, the game continues to be in good shape with the numbers reflecting the great work of clubs alongside the growing interest in the sport that Canterbury Golf similarly works hard to promote.
The AGM also saw an amended Canterbury Golf Constitution be adopted, with updates as per the new requirements of the new Incorporated Societies Act.
Whilst the AGM and Annual report provides a good opportunity to take a snapshot of the recent progress, this is coupled with excitement about numerous other initiatives planned for the coming year to continue to grow the game.
