The 2024 Canterbury Representative Selector panels for both the men’s and women’s teams have now been appointed, these are as follows:
We are excited to welcome to the men’s panel Kerry Chuck who will join John Rademakers and Matt McLean who will continue in their positions. Kerry is a familiar figure within the Canterbury Men’s golfing scene having been involved in the Canterbury Men’s team for several years holding both the roles of selector and more recently assistant manager. Kerry first started on the selectors panel in 2017, a role he continued for 5 years through to the end of the 2021 campaign. Having stepped aside from the selectors role, he did however continue to assist the province by taking on the assistant manager position in 2022 and 2023. Fortunately, in 2024 Kerry has decided to again assist the province taking on the convenor position to work alongside John and Matt who together as a panel will oversee the team selections for the following events during 2024:

In the women’s space, we welcome back both Cheryl Kemp and Pam Ellis to the roles. The pair assumed the positions for the first time in 2023 bringing a wealth of experience including many years as selectors and in sports administration. Having them continue in the roles offers the Canterbury Women’s space some nice consistency as the program looks to continue on from some positive outcomes last year. Cheryl and Pam will oversee the team selections for the following events during 2023:
