The Canterbury Men's Team has finished third with strong competition at the South Island Interprovincial played at St Clair Golf Club.
The event provides a great opportunity for provinces to test their teams against one another ahead of the NZ Men's Interprovincial.
Canterbury got off to a solid start on Saturday beating Aorangi and Tasman, both by the same margin of 6-2 games.
Canterbury had a tight tussle with host team Otago finishing in a 4 all draw with four of the eight matches going down the 18th hole.
Southland got the better of the Canterbury winning 5.5-2.5 games to win the overall title. Southland were the only team to go through unbeaten with 3.5 points and 22 games.
