The Final of MTF Finance Junior Match Play Interclub was held at Kaiapoi Golf Club on Sunday between Russley White and Hororata / Weedons in fine, sunny conditions and the course in great order.
The Russley White team had progessed through the round robin stage unbeaten and were looking to carry on their winning way. While Hororata / Weedons had other ideas it was the Russley side of, from left Lochie Horne, Alice Fry, Aisha Lee and Rahil Krishna who continued the team's unbeaten run to win 3-1.
Aisha, pictured again left was also presented with the Junior Match Play MVP Maori Wahaika trophy for the player with the most wins. She remained undefeated with a perfect three-from-three record in round robin play and carried that form into the final to win her match.
