Long standing Bottle Lake Golf Club member Alan H Brown passed away due to natural causes on 16 April aged 89.
Alan was an outgoing, friendly man and member of the Eagles Society since 1975 holding most positions in the Canterbury District, including Treasurer from 1977-1980, Club Captain 1982-1983, President 1985-1986 and became a Life Member in 2003. He was also President of the Windsor Golf Club from 1973-1974 and on the Canterbury Management Committee from 1969-1977 and President in 1974.
