The Flexi Lease Canterbury Women's Team performed well during the week to earn their spot in the semi finals where they played against Bay of Plenty, a repeat of last years final. The Canterbury Team had a narrow advantage through the turn but there wasn't much seperating the two teams. Catherine Bell secured the first point for the team with a 3/1 win over Jodae Ngaheu. Amelia Garvey played well to beat Alanna Campbell 3/2 achieving the perfect unbeaten record from the seven matches played. The matches between Hillary O'Connor and Emmalee Morrell and Juliana Hung and Rotana Howard saw both pairings going down the 18th hole with Canterbury 1 down in both matches. Hillary O'Connor and Emmalee Morrell both birdied the 18th hole but it wasn't enough to get Canterbury across the line with Rotana Howard two putting for par to win her match against Juliana Hung.
While the team didn't get the opportunity to win the title they won in 2015 they performed at a high standard throughout the week with impressive wins over teams from their section.
