Kaiapoi Golf Club have their Club Champs finals on Saturday. In the Senior grade father and son, Ron on a 5.3 handicap and Ryan Adams on a .3 are playing each other in the final.
Both Ron and Ryan won their semi-finals by shooting great rounds of 68 and 67 respectively.
To make the story even more interesting Ron had to play his grandson Mitchell Berry on a 8.7 handicap in the first round – with that match going to the 19th.
Furthermore Leigh, Ryan’s brother who is also a member at Kaiapoi plays off a 3.1 handicap.
Three generations in the Kaiapoi senior grade ... golfing talent is very obviously in the Adam’s genes!
