The Annual Town vs Country fixture was held at Pegasus Golf Club yesterday in fine, mild conditions and the course in excellent order. The teams played foursomes in the morning and singles matches in the afternoon with the following results:
Foursomes:
Men Seniors – Country 4 Town 2
Men Juniors – Country 2 Town 2
Men Masters – Town 3 Country 1
Women Masters – Town 1 Country 1
Singles:
Men Seniors – Town 9 Country 3
Men Juniors – Country 4 Town 3
Men Masters – Country 4.5 Town 3.5
Women Masters – Town 2.5 Country 1.5
Overall:
Men Seniors – Town 11 Country 7
Men Juniors – Country 6 Town 5
Men Masters – Town 6.5 Country 5.5
Women Masters – Town 3.5 Country 2.5
The Senior Women played the foursomes and singles as a trial format round robin.
