The Women’s Champion of Champions and Gross Stableford Rosebowl was played in fine, breezy weather and excellent spring conditions at Harewood Golf Club on Sunday.
The Champion of Champions Salver, 36 Hole Gross was won in commanding fashion by Jeonghyun Lee (Waitikiri) with rounds of 76 and 67 on 143 from Di Kay (Weedons) on 159 and Amy Weng (Russley) on 161.
The Hagley Trophy, 36 Hole Net was a much closer affair with Jeonghyun Lee on 141 winning narrowly from Ramai Lord (Everglades) on 142 and Di Kay 143.
The 9 Hole Champion Gross was won by Sandy McCrone (Russley) with a 48 on countback from Val Crooks (Amberley).
The Gross Stableford Rosebowl was won for the second consecutive year by Waitikiri, the team of from left, Pat Wilson, Jeonghyun Lee and Elizabeth Min with 121 points from Harewood’s Anne Dick, Fiona Nicholls and Catherine Butts with 118 points. Third on 107 points was Russley’s Amy Weng, Sunny Rho and Faye Le Cren.
The Pat Rennell Salver was won by Harewood’s Catherine Butts and Fiona Nicholls with 66 points.
Jo Kent (Rangiora) won the Toyota Longest Drive Trophy for the second year in a row.
