The Canterbury Women's Masters Team have achieved a remarkable feat winning the NZ Women's Masters by three shots from Bay of Plenty. The team of Kim Moggach, Naomi Wallace, Kate Turner, Suzette Eastmond and Manager Debbie Scott performed well throughout the four round tournament. Heading into the final round the team were in second position behind Bay of Plenty but saved their best combined round total for the final round with 101 gross stablefords. The format for the event has the best three gross stableford scores counting for each round. The Canterbury Team were steady will team scores of 96, 92, 98 and 101 gross stableford points.
