The Canterbury Golf 9 Hole Mixed Christmas Tournament was held at Waitikiri Golf Course yesterday in very hot, windy conditions with the course looking in great order. A great field of 73 Nine Hole golfers turned out for the last event of their year.
Women Grade 1
Best Gross - Adrienne Paterson, Kaiapoi with 49
Best Net - Suzanne Taylor, Russley with 36
Best Stableford - Kathleen Hema, Rawhiti with 19 points
Women Grade 2
Best Gross - Jenny Bartley, Bottle Lake with 56
Best Net - Jane Trotter, Russley with 34
Best Stableford - Wendy Hollyer, Christchurch with 18 points
Men
Best Gross - John Gregan, Rangiora with 52
Best Net - John Evans, Amberley with 36
Best Stableford - John Gardner, Rangiora with 17 points
