George Stringer Passes Away

Canterbury Central stalwart George Stringer passed away late last week. he was found at home by a neighbour.

George provided over 20 years service to his club Burnham, and as Secretary/Treasurer for Canterbury Central Golf where he was also a Life Member. He was also a member of the Canterbury Eagles Golfing Society.

A memorial service to celebrate George's life is being held at Christchurch Crematorium Funeral Services (65 Vickerys Rd, Wigram) on Sunday 14 May at 11am.
