The Final round of Men's Canterbury Central Brownie Cup Interclub was played at Greendale yesterday in cool conditions and the course in good order considering the amount of overnight rain.
It was the Tai Tapu team of, from left Ben Coffin, Stu Berryman, Tony Pye, Scott Ward, Will Tutton, James Ting and Gary Welsh. (Absent: Dave Crosbie, Ryan Ford, Ben Harding, Mark Tentori, Derek Ngu and Brent Earnshaw) who won their final match comfortably, as they have for most of the season, defeating Weedons Red 6-3.
Gary Welsh also took out the Barkle Cup for the best individual performance, remaining unbeaten in the competition with a 6 from 6 winning record. Gary is pictured right, receiving the Barkle Cup from Greendale's John Bowden.
