Canterbury Golf Life Member Terry Downey Passes Away

Canterbury Golf Life Member Terry Downey passed away last Friday morning at Parklands Care Home in Papanui. He had been in poor health for some time.

He was heavily involved with the administration of Canterbury Golf culminating in being President in 1984. He was also a long time member of the Canterbury Golf Referees Association.

The funeral service for Terry will be held at the Lamb & Hayward Westpark Chapel on Wairakei Rd at 2pm on Friday 15^th January.
