The Canterbury Golf Women's Ringers Tournament was held at Greendale Golf Club yesterday in calm sunny conditions with the course in great order and the hosts providing a great day for everyone.
With some excellent scores from players overall, it was the Harewood pairing of Anne Beckingsale (left) and Fiona Nicholls who prevailed in the Silver and Bronze 18 Hole Competition with a total of 81 Stableford points, second on 78 points were Russley's Jane Kim and Shera Kant and third with 72 points Bottle Lake's Erin Hensley and Jayne Champ.
In the 9 Hole Competition Russley's Allison Rosanowski won with 19 points on a countback from Avondale's Philippa Lemon with Rangiora's Rita Moore third on 15 points.
