Following yesterday afternoon's announcement of COVID 19 Level 4 restrictions remaining in place until at least 11.59pm on Friday 27 August and the uncertainty around any potential move down the alert levels prior to Sunday, the decision has been made to cancel the scheduled Town vs Country fixture due to be played at Rangiora Golf Club on Sunday 29 August.
Further considerations as to the unlikely scenario that we would be in alert level 2 by this Sunday and the possibility of the event taking place have also been investigated however the unavailability of the scheduled host course venue has also led to this decision.
